About Us:
In today's world, moving or relocating into a new home can be a very time consuming and tiring process. Once the decision on which home to buy, then comes the questions of how/what/when/where to decorate their new home. Home Furnishings Marketing (HFM) was created to provide a turnkey, valued-added service that offers to furnish your complete home to your satisfaction and have it ready at moving time so all you need is your personal and kitchen items to set-up a fully functional home. In most cases, we can deliver your order in 3 to 8 weeks. Our product offerings are direct from the manufacturers or distributors so we can pass substantial savings on direct to our customers. Swatches:
If you would like to view swatches for this piece, please inform your sales consultant or customer service of the item name. We will walk you through this procedure, so you do not incur unnecessary postage and handling fees for color groups that are inappropriate for your needs. When we send you swatches, we are required to hold a credit card number on file until the swatches are returned. Swatches must be returned within thirty (30) days. When swatches are returned, the $10 charge per color group will be waived, and only a $5 postage and handling charge will be billed to your account. Checks are also accepted for viewing color swatches. If an extension is needed for swatch viewing, please contact your sales consultant. All fees, including postage and handling, will be waived upon ordering.
Pricing:
Our products are priced very competitively due to our volume levels and low overhead structures. Some of the upholstery on our website is available in a variety of different fabric, leather grades and wood finishes. The price of each style is determined by the grade of fabric or leather you select. All pricing within this catalog reflects starting grade #1 leathers, which are top grain, fully protected cowhides. Contact us for special discounts on multi-room or whole home package purchases. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Placing Orders:
HFM offers you substantial savings on your investment in high-quality furniture. At the time of order placement, we require 100% prepayment on orders placed on-line or a 50% deposit by check or money order, with the remaining balance due just prior to shipment from the manufacturer. Orders cannot be shipped until the balance is paid in full. Orders will be confirmed by email or mail. Please retain one copy for your records. Our Guarantee:
At HFM, we want each customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. All companies represented by HFM offer a warranty against manufacturers' defects. Costs for packing and shipping are the responsibility of the consumer. Please inquire for specific details about manufacturer warranties. HFM takes pride in the products and services it offers. We warrant that all merchandise will be delivered in a condition which meets standards set by the manufacturers. While we carefully advise you of the manufacturer's reputation, quality, and design, actual choice and selection is the customer's responsibility. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly exchange or refund your purchase, less freight and a 15% restocking fees.
Manufacturers' Warranties:
All manufacturers represented by HFM offer warranties. HFM warrants that the Products sold hereunder will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase or based on the original manufacturer's warranty period if greater. If the Products do not conform to this limited warranty during the warranty period, the buyer shall notify HFM in writing of the claimed defects and demonstrate that the defect is covered by this warranty. HFM and its manufacturers do not warrant against damages or defects arising out of improper or abnormal use of handling of the Products; against defects or damages arising from improper installation (by persons other than HFM representatives), or against damages resulting from such non-Manufacturer made products or components. This warranty also does not apply to Products upon which repairs have been affected or attempted by persons other than pursuant to written authorization by Manufacturer. The sole and exclusive obligation of the Manufacturer shall be to repair or replace the defective Products in the manner and for the period provided above. Under no circumstances, whether based on this Limited Warranty or otherwise, shall Manufacturer be liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages. Contact customer service or your sales consultant for specific warranty information on your items of purchase.
Payment:
At HFM, we absolutely offer you the best prices available. So that we may continue to offer low prices, we request that you At the time of order placement, we require 100% prepayment on orders placed on-line through PayPal or send us a 50% deposit by check or money order, with the remaining balance due just prior to shipment from the manufacturer. Orders cannot be shipped until the balance is paid in full. Paypal will accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit cards for the total purchase price. Cancellations and changes are not accepted after the product is received from the manufacturer or special upholstery fabrics/leather has been cut. If cancellation occurs before this time, customer will be charged a $50.00 cancellation charge.
Taxes:
HFM is not responsible for collecting or submitting sales or use taxes for any state other than North Carolina. Each state manages and dictates their own policies and requirements. North Carolina residents add 7% sales tax.
Delivery Information & Claims Policy:
HFM always delivers, offering you a special service of professional movers who will call you directly to arrange a convenient delivery so you can be there to supervise placement. Delivery charges are based on weight and destinations, and include notification, insurance, fuel surcharge and moving fees. Please inquire about our other delivery options. HFM also offers shipping anywhere on the globe. All website prices and shipping quotes are in U.S. funds and do not include applicable duties, customs fees, or taxes, which are paid by the customer. For more information on handling or deliveries, please contact us via email or call 828-459-9308. All items must be deliverable. Delivery times vary according to location. Two to four weeks after our shipment can be expected. Shipping costs are based on weight per 100 lbs. Rates may vary. For international or deliveries outside of the U.S., please call for rates.
Payment:
All delivery charges and any balances due to furniture companies are due upon arrival and must be paid before we unload and place the furniture in your residence. Delivery charges must be paid by cash, certified check, or money order unless the freight has been prepaid. No personal checks will be accepted.
Set-Up:
Our drivers are on a very tight schedule each day. They will place your furniture where you want it one time. We cannot move existing furniture nor dispose of it. Normal set up includes attaching mirror supports, reversing drawer hardware, assembling beds and dining room tables. We are not equipped to dust, hang mirrors on walls, assemble baby beds or water beds, level furniture on carpet, or cut bed slats. We also do not assemble "knock-down" or "flat-packed" furniture, as this is typically a very time consuming task. If upon placing the furniture in your home it is found to be too difficult to maneuver a piece of furniture in narrow halls, doorways, or stairwells, then our drivers cannot be responsible for any damages to furniture, floors, or walls. In the event a piece of furniture is too large to fit into your residence or specific room, immediately call our office. We are not equipped to hoist furniture. Generally, we will not bring back an item because it will not fit in your home so please take measurements and make certain that the piece(s) will fit before our driver arrives. Also note that if your home is not accessible to our truck, it will be your responsibility to provide a means of transportation from the truck to your home.
Claims:
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect each item for damage as it is being brought into their residence. After it is all in, our driver will ask you to sign the bill of lading and you will receive a copy at that point. Please note any defects or damages when you sign the bill. If your delivery takes place between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm Eastern Time Monday - Friday, please contact our office while the driver is still in your home to report any damage. If your delivery takes place after hours or on a weekend or holiday, please call the next business day. Once our driver leaves your home you have 24 hours to contact our office and report any damage that was not noted at the time of delivery. In addition, the notation of missing or damaged goods does not constitute the filing of a claim. It is the customer's responsibility to contact our office as soon as possible to activate the claim. PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE REQUIRED WITHIN 45 DAYS WHEN FILING ANY CLAIM and HFM WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COSTS RELATED TO THEM. Any item returned to our facilities will be checked in by our Quality Control Team in order to determine if the problem is manufacturing or transit related. In either case, you will receive notification from our office within approximately 14 days advising you of the status of the item(s) and what our resolution will be. Any item(s) returned because of transit related damage will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of our transportation service. After resolution, the item(s) will be returned to you on a priority basis at no additional charge provided you paid your delivery charge in full. Items found to be of normal production quality will be returned to you with an additional charge. Only significant problem items should be returned. Please do not refuse complete orders over one item as re-delivery charges are expensive.
Periodically, there will be a factory related problem that will go undetected until you receive it in your home. If this occurs, we would like for you to send the factory defective piece back with our driver to be corrected, unless someone from our office authorizes you to keep it. We would also ask that you call our Claims Department with any questions about problems with your furniture while the driver is in your home. If it is after 5:00pm Eastern time, please call the next morning. Our driver cannot determine the proper procedure(s) for correcting the situation and cannot obligate our company for anything related to your furniture. Our office personnel will be glad to assist you in the solution.
